Delete Your Account

ScratchersParadise allows you to delete your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what data is affected.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: From the Mobile App

  1. Open the ScratchersParadise app
  2. Go to the Account tab
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: From the Website

  1. Log in at scratchersparadise.com/portal
  2. Navigate to the Preferences section
  3. Scroll to the Account section at the bottom
  4. Click Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 3: Contact Us

If you cannot access your account, email support@scratchersparadise.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account credentials — email, password, and authentication tokens
  • User profile — user ID, account metadata
  • Saved games — all games you have saved to your favorites
  • Notification preferences — home state, budget, play style, schedule, delivery time, and channel settings
  • Notification schedules — any active notification delivery schedules are cancelled
  • Push notification tokens — device tokens used for push notifications
  • Chat history — all AI chatbot conversation history

What Data Is Retained

  • Subscription billing records — Stripe and/or Apple/Google payment records are retained for legal and tax compliance purposes (typically 7 years). These records are managed by the payment processor and do not contain your personal preferences or app usage data.
  • Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics (e.g., total page views) that cannot be linked back to your account.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Your data cannot be recovered after deletion.
  • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges. You can manage your subscription from the Subscription page.
  • Deletion is processed immediately when initiated from the app or website. Email requests are processed within 7 business days.
